Make your competitive juices overcome your excuses. Why not come down to the Freemason Lodge in Ryan Street, Charters Towers on Friday evenings from 7.30 pm. The atmosphere you will intercept is great and a friendly smile won't go astray. The Charters Towers club, in particular consists of seniors and juniors from the age of 10 onwards.
The Charters Towers Darts Association is affiliated with Zone 6. The Zone consists of Cairns, Townsville , Thuringowa and Charters Towers.
The Zone games include Adam and Eve, NQ6's, Claytons, Pat Mckenzie Cup, President's Cup, Presentation Trebles, Averages,Vets and Juniors. These games are played throughout North Queensland.
Intercity Matches between Charters Towers and Townsville include Olivia Risdale, President's Shield, and Gully Butler. These tournaments are held in either Charters Towers or Townsville.
The Association also holds tournaments within the club that include," The Spud Murphy Trophy", "Neville Polkinghorne Perpetual Trophy", The Charters Towers Closed and the Wayne Howearth Junior Trophy.
